Once tied to 16th Century Prostitutes, who use to bathe & wash their clothes in the perfumed water of Lavender, to attract lovers, this gentle herb has long been associated with Love. It 'calms the waters' of the spirit, reducing stress or anxiety, that may plaque the mind from underlying doubts or fears. It entices one to dig deeper within their subconscious mind, creating a portal for lucid or vivid dreams, which may help one along their path or answer questions that have been troubling the individual. Associated with the Third Eye, psychic practices & meditation, Lavender was ritualistically tossed into bonfires, to open the window to the spirit realm, while diverting evil spirits & offering protection against the Evil Eye.

-Cinnamon chips: For Prosperity, Money Drawing & Strength.
For centuries, cinnamon has been used in all kinds of spiritually protective rituals, magic spells and potions amongst several cultures, as it is known for stimulating the Sacral, Solar Plexus & Crown Chakra, inspiring spiritual insight, psychic powers, healing and of course protection. However, one of its main intentions in magick is to propel success or bring in abundance, as it's spicy & warm scent can work to spice up your own energy, thus raising your vibrations, warming the spirit & projecting positive energy, which in return will find it's way back to you threefold.

It raises the vibrations to illuminate our soul & reflects any negative energy that might create doubt or fear, so that one may better connect to their higher purpose, also making it a powerful source when working through tragedies. It is a great healer to the mind, body & spirit, which is why it was traditionally used in an amulet or herbal sachet to bring about a quick healing. -Raven Cone Incense: Animal Totem for Insight, Magick, Protection & Creation.
The Raven, often viewed in cultures as a symbol of death & darkness, but we must remember that without darkness there is no light, and without death, there is no life. Making the Raven & the Crow a powerful symbol of the balance in the cycle of life. Much like the Hindu God, Lord Shiva, bringer of destruction, the Raven is a scavenger & will feast among the dead, carrying away the physical body & releasing the spirit back into the Void. Leaving this curious animal to be so closely tied to the spirit world & all the mysteries that dwell within it. These very intelligent animals have away about them, not much like any other animal on Earth, they are observers, overlooking the slightest movement below. They are great problem solvers in their solitary ways & powerful communicators. The Raven is vibrationally tied to the great Morrigan (aka) 'Phantom Queen', a respected prophetess & Celtic Goddess. In the Welsh culture, the Raven works as a messenger from our ancestors, bringing us warnings & guidance along our journey. It serves as a vessel of powerful magick & ancestral memories to aid our practices. The Raven has much to tell us.

Called upon the spirit of the Raven, blessed this special blend with the energies of Amethyst & Onyx, bringing a mysterious & intuitive energy to heighten the senses. Scented with Spiced Cinnamon this haunting Incense encourages one to look deeper within, seeking the mysteries & ancient wisdom of the Universe, aiding in a strengthening of psychic energy & stronger magick. Working with the Shadow self can become a very deep & very personal practice, calling upon the spirit of the Raven can help one to achieve this comfortably while offering true protection & release of fear. Because the Raven can also be viewed as a symbol of Death, it's spirit can help one to release & bury past trauma's from this life or past, so that with this 'death,' can spring new life; also making it an appropriate energy to work with at the time of Samhain.

-Protection elixir incense: Scent of Cinnamon & Spice. Blessed by Smoky Quartz & Obsidian.
This is my new favorite scent in the entire world! I am obsessed with this incense!!
The Protection elixir is a spicy blend of Cinnamon to welcome a mental shield from outside negative energies and any other harm that may be weakening your spiritual aura and energy. For centuries, cinnamon has been used in all kinds of spiritually protective rituals, magic spells and potions amongst several cultures, as it is known for stimulating the crown chakra, inspiring spiritual insight, psychic powers, healing and of course protection. Cinnamon oil was commonly used in the mummification process by the Egyptians and was applied as a holy anointing oil in ancient Hebrew rituals. When it is burned as incense or added to foods, cinnamon raises spiritual energy to a higher level, thus pushing away negative or lower vibrational forces. With the added powerful protective energies of Black Obsidian and Smokey Quartz this elixir clears an abundance of blockages and emotions that may have been absorbed by others, while releasing electromagnetic smog that may be clouding the body and mind so that you may find clear insight and balance within.

The prayer for this:
" I trust in the protection of my spirit, body, and mind as I now hold a shield unlike any other kind. My aura is strong with white light defined from my divine energy and spirit combined."

The White Witch Parlour
-Romance Incense: For Passion, Seduction & Kundalini.
In a sweet, dark & seductive blend of cherries & almonds, my Romance elixir raises the bar for erotic scents. Cherries, symbolic of much more than food, have long been associated with feminine energy as well as used in divination practices and spells throughout the world to attract suitors and discern the future. Almond, on the other hand, brings wisdom, fruitfulness & prosperity to all sections of life, including time in the bedroom. Considered a dark cherry scent & a favorite by many, 'Romance' holds the energies of Rose Quartz, Fluorite & Red Garnet crystals. Rose Quartz is the stone of universal love. It restores trust and harmony in relationships, encouraging unconditional love. It purifies and opens the heart at all levels to promote love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace. Calming and reassuring, it helps to dispel negativity, replacing it with loving vibes. It encourages self-forgiveness and acceptance invoking self-trust and self-worth. Fluorite helps to open the way for the power of other stones to be effective. It can be used as a meditation stone to help energize the body and raise the power of concentration. While Garnet, the stone of romantic love and passion, enhances sensuality, sexuality, and intimacy. It is said that garnet will bring positive thoughts and boost energy and can assist mystically with building one's self-confidence, therefore offering a better performance.

The prayer for this:
" With passion heavy & fantasy so true, I find excitement just being alone with you. Soon to become a desire fulfilled, the sound of my lusting heart being thrilled."

Money Magick

0
Money spells are popular in many magical traditions, and you can incorporate these into your workings to bring prosperity your way.

Rest assured, you don’t need to purchase everything I list in each spell.  After you have read this, you can make your choices according to which spell you prefer to use, then buy what you need accordingly.  I don’t want you spending a shedload of money to try to receive a shedload of money.

If in need, here are some items that all have money & success drawing attributes:
-Candles: either a large green candle that can burn for an hour over 7 or 8 days, or 7 or 8 green small spell/chime candles which can burn for an hour each
-Herbs:  cedarwood, dried orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, bay leaf, cloves, maple bark, ash bark, galangal root, nutmeg, allspice.
-Oils:  Patchouli, Orange, Ginger, Bergamot, Clove
-Crystals:  green aventurine, pyrite

💰 Money Drawing Incense 1:
-2 parts frankincense
-1 part cinnamon
-1 part nutmeg
-1/2 part clove
-1/2 part ginger
-1/2 part Sandalwood

💰 Money Drawing Incense 2:
-wood base 8 ounces w/green
-or cedar 8 ounces
-frankincense 4 ounces
-cinnamon 4 ounce
-sandalwood 2 ounces
-myrrh 1 ounce
-orrisroot 1 ounce
-nutmeg oil
-cedar oil

For Incense: You can use either a very fine sawdust or cedar as the wood base. If using a sawdust wood base, add green food coloring in a little water to the sawdust to tint it.

💰 Money Spell #1:
An easy little money spell anyone can do is to take a handful of coins and place on the floor (not where dogs, young children, or people thinking they’ve found spare change can pick them up) whilst chanting (at least three times) “Money on the floor brings money in the door”.

💰 Money Spell #2:
(Said while making 9 knots in green, 13-inch silk cord or ribbon)
By knot of one, my spell's begun
By knot of two, plenty fruitful work to do
By knot of three, money comes to me
By knot of four, opportunity knocks at my door
By knot of five, my business thrives
By knot of six, this spell is fixed
By knot of seven, success is given
By knot of eight, increase is great
By knot of nine, these things are mine

💰 Money Spell #3:
You need:
some money or pictures of cash, checks, and jewels to be placed on the altar for raising energy.

Put the money on the altar, not as an object to worship but as a symbol to your deep mind of what you want to obtain. You may wish to place a goddess statue or another religious symbol behind the symbolic wealth, as a reminder that money is not after the ultimate value. Then, chant to raise power. Your chant can be something like :

"Wealth , wealth , come to me , I deserve prosperity."

As the power moves toward its peak , imagine a huge transparent funnel over you, and huge amounts of cash , checks and other forms of wealth cascading down through it to pile up around you.

💰 Money Spell #4:
This one takes a bit more work:
This must be done on the proper Day and Hour of Jupiter**. I will explain more in a bit. You will need a Green Candle and a White Candle. The Green candle represents the money, and the white candle represents you. You may draw/carve money symbols on the green candle (£ or $ or whatever you use in your country) and then anoint the candles with a money-drawing oil, such as Orange, Patchouli, Clove, Bergamot, or Ginger,  thinking of your desire for money to come to you. Set the candles on your altar or table 8 inches apart. After doing this, say…(saying it 3 times or more is best)

“Money, money come to meIn abundance three times threeMay I be enriched in the best of waysHarming none on its wayThis I accept, so mote it beBring me money three times three!”

You need to start this Spell on a Thursday which is the Day of Jupiter and at the proper hour of Jupiter for your Latitude and Longitude. Repeat this for 8 days. Each day, move the White Candle one inch closer to the Green Candle. Allow the candles to burn for one hour before extinguishing and during this time, visualize money coming into your life. When the Candles touch on the eighth day, your spell is finished. This will end the Spell on a Thursday as well.

Each day you should find the proper Planetary Hour of Jupiter and do the Spell at that time. This will give it much more power. Jupiter is associated with money. Be sure you visualize the money pouring in from the Universe, but make sure you imagine a source of where that money will come from.

**** you can find the Planetary hours table here: http://www.lunarium.co.uk/planets/hours.jsp to find what time the Jupiter hour(s) are for each day.

I may as well give you a list of which days and their corresponding planet:
Monday – Moon (voyages, travel, anything to do with water)
Tuesday – Mars (to acquire courage, overthrow enemies)
Wednesday – Mercury (answers about the future, divination)
Thursday – Jupiter  (money)
Friday – Venus  (love)
Saturday – Saturn (to acquire learning)
Sunday – Sun  (business)

Keep these in a convenient place or memorize them as they will be used again.

💰 Money Oil:
Blend this oil up ahead of time, and use in rituals calling for abundance, prosperity, good fortune, or financial success.

To make Money Oil, use 1/8 Cup base oil of your choice.

Add the following:
-5 drops Sandalwood
-5 drops Patchouli
-2 drops Ginger
-2 drops Vetivert
-1 drop Orange

As you blend the oils, visualize your intent, and take in the aroma. Label, date, and store in a cool, dark place.

💰 Money Bottle:
Items needed:
-5 old pennies
-5 dimes
-5 quarters (or, five each of three denominations of your country's coin currency)
-5 kernels of dried corn
-5 sesame seeds
-5 cinnamon sticks
-5 cloves
-5 whole allspice
-5 pecans

Place each item into a thin, tall bottle, such as a spice bottle. Cap it tightly. Shake the bottle with your projective hand for five minutes while chanting these or similar words:

"Herbs and silver,Copper and grain;Work to increase  My money gain."

Place the money spell bottle on a table somewhere in your house. Leave your purse, pocketbook, wallet and/or checkbook near the bottle when at home. Allow money to come into your life.

💰 Money Jar:
You will need:
- the appropriate herbs
- a clear quartz
- a jar,
- a green candle.

-   Take the jar and fill it with the herbs and crystal(s) with the intent to get that money! As you add the ingredients, say your intent, for example:

“Give me luck, prosperity, and wealth. Give me the scholarships, grants, and financial aid that I want for [school’s name]!”

Repeat however many times you’d like.
-   After filling the jar, seal it and place the candle on top of the lid. Light the candle and allow it to melt and seal the jar. Say for example:

“With this seal, you are sealed to give me the money that I want for school. I bid it so it will be!”

-   Place the jar in the sunlight for as long as you’d like to give it an extra charge.
-   After the sun charges it, place it somewhere safe.

💰 Money Candle Spell #1:
You will need:
-a piece of petition paper (i use ripped up paper bags)
-a green or white candle (i use small ones)
-coins collected from around the home
-the appropriate dressing oil
-the appropriate herbs
-something to carve the candle

-   Go around your home collecting loose change with the thought of drawing good fortune and money towards you. Put these coins on a plate in a circle.
-   Take the petition paper and write your full name and birthdate in black pen. Now surround your name and DOB with the words “good fortune and money” in a circle without lifting the pen until your name is completely surrounded (I do this with a green pen). Add $ signs if you want to each corner of the paper and anoint it with oil. Fold the paper TOWARDS you to attract good luck and set it under the plate with the coins.
-   Take your green or white candle and carve your name and money signs onto it. Dress it afterward with whichever oil you chose. Dress the candle TOWARDS you, and afterwards dress the candle with the herbs.
-   Set your candle in the middle of the circle of coins, and light!
-   I put myself into a meditative state by watching the flame burn, putting all of my intention and energy into it. I do this for a good 10 or 15 minute and then let the candle burn.

💰 Money Candle Spell #2:
This is a money visualization spell which should be done regularly until you are happy with the amount of money that has come into your life.

What you need:
A green candle (you can use a chime candle, a taper candle, or a ritually charged wealth spell candle).

Let’s begin…
Take a green candle, and carve a dollar sign into it (or any other symbol which strongly represents money to you). Hold it in your hands and ask it to bring you money, charging it with money energy.

Light the candle, and imagine yourself being showered with gold dust. Feel it raining all around you. Maybe even dollar bills, coins, or treasures pile up around you. Chant the following:

“Golden rain, the magick is done
Money come to me, harming none”

It’s essential that you really feel the wealth piling up around you; feel yourself becoming light and free and all your worries lifting. Feel joy in your heart. Do this visualization and chanting as long as you want, but recommended at least 5-10 minutes.

Do this on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. To keep your spell going, continue this every week. Keep your channels open to where the money might come from, and stay open to new opportunities showing up in your life.

Hopefully, these help someone out, and you get blessed with a little luck!

Sanctuary

0
I stopped at Sanctuary over the weekend to replenish a few of my prosperity needs.

While in there I talked to the girl who made the beautiful Pentagram that I had received in my recent Samhain Sabbat box from there. I told her how much I loved it and on the way out, I bought another handmade goody from her. --this one with green calcite and Lemurian quartz. I really need this too. Since busting my leg again, I have been pretty immobile and depressed.

-The Green Calcite is associated with gentle healing, calming, relaxation, balancing emotions, emotional tranquility, and centering. It aids any transition from a stagnant to a positive environment. It is also used to stimulate the immune system and absorb negative energy (such as arthritis and bacterial infections). Crystal Healers use it with bone adjustments and constrictions of the ligaments and muscles. It is also said to help the kidneys, spleen, and pancreas. It removes toxins from the body and alleviates mental fear. It aids in mental clarity, soothes anxiety, calms turbulent energies. Expands awareness, aids intuition, links parallel realities.
I hope this helps me to embrace my whole self, flaws included and turn them into strengths. I really could use the help focussing on the moment, no matter how crazy/stressful life is going and to give me a sense of stability throughout it.

-The Lemurian Quartz crystals are considered to be one of the "Master Crystals" as they are associated with all of the chakras, all astrological signs, all elements, and all planetary aspects.  Lemurian Quartz Crystals are master teachers, assisting in oneness and reminding us that while we are all individuals, we are also all interconnected beings equal in Spirit.
Lemurian Quartz Crystals were initially found in Brazil. However, metaphysical legends state that there was once an advanced ancient civilization called Lemuria (Mu), similar to Atlantis but more spiritually developed and peaceful.  As the end of their time on Earth was coming to an end, the Lemurian's programmed these crystals to teach their messages of oneness and healing. These messages would be revealed when the energy on Earth was ready to receive them.  The Lemurians then planted (or “seeded”) the Lemurian Crystals, encoded with their ancient knowledge and wisdom, to be found centuries later by us. This legend goes on to state that Lemurian Seed Crystals are planted in a grid pattern over the surface of the Earth and beyond, to other stars and dimensions.
When you connect to a Lemurian Crystal and the energy it contains, you are also connecting to this grid of associated energies from the Earth, the stars, and beyond. This may all seem very far-fetched to some skeptics, but until you experience the physical beauty of these crystals, you may not ever understand just how receptive we are to their vibration. Lemurian Seed crystals generate a very feminine or yin energy, which is wonderful for wanting to get in touch with and activating their divine feminine energies.

10272018-003
^here's my pentagram that she had made. Gorgeous hey?
The pentagram holds pyrite, Lemurian quartz, and black obsidian.

-The Pyrite (also known as 'fools gold') is a very protective stone, shielding the user from negative energy of all kinds. Pyrite blocks energy leaks and mends auric tears. Protecting you from both environmental pollution and physical danger. Pyrite also promotes good physical health and emotional well-being.

-The Black Obsidian is a natural glass that forms when hot volcanic lava becomes submerged in water.
It is one of the most important spiritual teachers and is also called the "stone of truth."
This the reason why Black Obsidian is an excellent choice when it comes to scrying and crystal gazing practices, because the Black Obsidian tells you the truth as it is, without clouding or obscuring anything. It will give it to you bluntly which is what you want.
Black obsidian aids in removing doubt and negative thoughts. It also protects against depression and helps you manage your grief. It is beneficial for ailments relating to digestion and helps to reduce food cravings. Its healing properties also include aiding your vision and preventing arthritis and the hardening of the arteries.

Jar Spells

0
tumblr-oqrd38-FQp-Q1s6pp33o1-500
Jar spells, also known as bottle spells or container spells, are an old form of folk magic. One of the earliest mentions of this type of magic came from the 17th century. A man was advised to make a Witch's jar for his wife because it was suspected that she was 'bewitched' and they wanted to break the curse:
“Take your Wive’s Urine as before, and Cork, it in a Bottle with Nails, Pins, and Needles, and bury it in the Earth; and that will do the feat. The Man did accordingly. And his Wife began to mend sensibly and in a competent time was finely well recovered; But there came a Woman from a Town some miles off to their house, with a lamentable Out-cry, that they had killed her Husband… But at last, they understood by her, that her Husband was a Wizard, and had bewitched this Mans Wife and that this Counter-practice prescribed by the Old Man, which saved the Mans Wife from languishment, was the death of that Wizard that had bewitched her.”
-- Joseph Glanvill’s Saducismus Triumphatus, or Evidence concerning Witches and Apparitions (1681)
While this form of magic is most found in cursing and curse-breaking, it’s not just for baneful magic. The Hoodoo ‘honey jar spell’ for example is common in love magic. The jar spell is overall versatile and can be custom-designed for a variety of needs.
Here’s how to design and cast a jar spell:

Jar Spell IntentThe first and most logical step in a jar spell is to define your intent. Your intent is what everything in your spell will revolve around. As per usual with magic, your intent should be:
-Specific goals (no wishing, no generalizing, no multi-purpose spells for 12 different things)
-Realistic (no Dungeons & Dragons or Harry Potter fantasy stuff)
-Ethical (I'm not going to say what is or isn't ethical; but you should certainly consider your ethics, based on your spirituality, and think about the consequences of your actions)
-Once your intent is determined, you would then proceed to begin to design your jar spell. Namely, what kind of things you need to put into it to achieve your goal.

Choosing a Container for Your Jar Spell
Basically, any kind of container can be used for a spell. I have to admit up front, though, I’m not entirely comfortable using containers made of plastic, but opinions vary on its effectiveness. I prefer glass, but people use clay and other materials. As long as it has no cracks and a tight-fitting lid or cork, you’re golden. Scrounge around the house or thrift shops. Consider using: mason jars, baby food jars, mayo or pickle jars, old salad, and oil bottles.

Make sure you cleanse and consecrate the container you’re going to use. If you want, you can paint it in a color that’s in line with your intent or with symbols and images. This is not necessary, but any little help can give you a boost—plus, it keeps anyone who might stumble upon your jar from seeing the contents.

Your Jar Spell Contents
Deciding on the contents is basically the ‘meat’ of this magical working. While there is no limit to what you can choose to include, it’s important to select things that will help work toward your ultimate magical goal.

Two items that both magically powerful and easy to come by are crystals and herbs. You can find a variety of them anywhere, and they are able to carry the energy that you’ll want to put into your spell.

Candles
Candles are not necessary for jar spells, but I find it adds yet another boost of power if you combine it with candle magic. Dress the candle of the appropriate color and burn it in the mouth of the jar, or on top of the sealed jar letting all the wax meltdown. You can burn multiple candles on a jar over the course of time for an on-going project.

Words of Power
When I prepare a spell, I always like to plan a chant to say while I’m casting it. Chanting is a great way to raise energy. You can find a chant in a book or online, or you can make up your own. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare to be effective. Something simple like:
Money, money, come to me;
Help me pay these bills I see.
As long as it suits the occasion and is meaningful to you, it’ll work.
Rhythm and rhyming can help you memorize it quickly before you start, and then you can really get into it like a mantra when you’re casting. By letting it spill from your lips effortlessly, it bypasses that conscious part of your brain and taps into your source of power—that part of the mind that sends the energy toward your goal.

Casting a Jar Spell Step-by-Step
-If you prefer to use magical timing, you might look up the most effective day and hour to lend power to your spell. You do not need to cast a circle for this spell, but if you wish to do it within a ritual circle, you may. Invoke a deity, if you wish, for assistance.
-Cleanse and consecrate any items if you have not yet done so.
-Ground and center yourself. State your intent, then focus on it.
-Pick up one item at a time (or place it on your pentacle) and charge it. Charging empowers the item with your personal intent while stirring and stimulating the item’s own natural energy that you’re trying to tap. You might say something such as, “By the power of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water; By the Power of the sun, moon and stars; With the blessings of the Goddess Aphrodite, I charge you, rose quartz, to attract love to me.“ As you add items to your jar, chant to raise power.
-When you’re finished filling your jar, you can seal it right away (and then burn a candle on it if desired), or you can burn a candle in the open mouth of the jar. Meditate on having acquired your goal (don’t envision yourself wanting your goal, or you leave yourself in a perpetual state of wanting; envision yourself having your goal. What will life be like, how will you feel, when it is done?). Hold onto your visualization for about 20 minutes, or as long as you can.
-Seal your jar, if you have not. The spell is cast.

Congratulations- You Cast a Jar Spell

What to Do with your Spell Jar Now?
There are a few different options now that you’ve cast your jar spell. Basically, you can bury it, hide it, toss it in water, keep it on your altar, or dismantle it. Which you choose depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.

Bury the jar when…
-you are seeking permanent protection or to break or repel a curse. This will stand sentry on your property and protect you (or on the property of the person for whom you cast the jar spell). If you don’t have land of your own, you can bury it in a flower pot of soil left by your doorstep.
-you want your jar to be a ‘magnet’ of sorts to continue to draw things to you (attention, health, wealth, etc.). Bury it on the property of the person you’re casting for and be done with it.
-you are casting a spell on another unbeknownst to them. Bury it on their property—ideally somewhere they cross over every day, like beneath their doorstep.
-If you were doing some major cursing to harm another, you could bury it in a graveyard (not something I personally recommend by the way; but I’m just passing on the information).
-You are trying to rid yourself of something (or rid the person you’re casting for of something), like a disease or bad habit. Bury the jar at a crossroads, don’t look back and ideally, never return.

Hide the jar when…
-you want to bury it, but burying it is not an option, just hide it deep in the home somewhere—inside a wall, in the junk closet, or wherever it won’t be disturbed.
-You plan on dismantling it sometime in the future, which when done correctly will disengage the spell.
Toss the jar in water when…
-using it to banish or exorcize any entities, or if you are working with any ‘questionable’ entities (again, not recommended, just passing on the information). Running natural water sources will purify it and protect you from their return.
-it’s successfully removed a curse, a disease, a bad habit, etc.; this is an alternative to burying it at a crossroad. Keep in mind you could be fined for littering if you’re just tossing stuff into local waters.
*Tip: if it floats, puncture the cap with a hole, or tie it to a weight.

Keep the jar on your altar when…
-when your goal is an ongoing one that you’d like to keep working on. You can continue to burn candles over the mouth of the jar or shake it while saying your chant to keep it working for you. Alternatively, if you have a shrine to your God/dess and sought their aid, you can keep it there. Again, shake it occasionally while chanting to keep the power going. This is actually a good option for spells that are going to require a great deal of time and effort—for example, you might do a jar spell to help you pass tests, and keep it on your altar all through college. You might repeat your chant, burn a candle or shake it every night before exams. This is better than making a new spell for every exam.

Dismantle the jar when…
-when the power of the spell is no longer necessary, and you’d like the effects to stop. For example, if you cast a jar spell to attract love, you might have had many interests for a while. Now, you are getting married, and you don’t want to attract any more potential lovers. So you would dismantle the spell. To do this, remove the contents and bury them at a crossroads or into running water, clean the container and dispose of it. With a proper cleansing, you could re-use it.
Warning: It’s not generally a good idea to dismantle a jar used for cursing or hexing or one for breaking a curse or hex unless you really know what you’re doing. Just bury it at the crossroads or in running water and be done with it.

One thing I do not recommend is throwing it into a fire, as is mentioned in some sources. This was, in particular, a method of cursing and curse-breaking; the Witch would throw the jar into the fire and when it burst it meant the curse was working (torturing the person it is cast on) or it meant the curse you were lifting has broken. This is not necessary, and not a safe option at all. However, if you do dismantle a jar spell and have some components left over (a ribbon, a paper, etc.), you could burn those items after it’s dismantled if you have a safe means of doing so.

Candle Magic

Candle magic harnesses the power of fire to bring change. Fire is the Element of transformation. Think for a moment how fire transforms things: it melts the wax. It renders many organic materials (leaves, wood, flesh, and bone) to ash. It softens hard metals to make them malleable for forging. It can heat substances, turning them from liquid to gas (water to steam, for example). If you mix ingredients together and put them into the fire, it can transform your batter into a cake, your dough into bread. It brings light to the darkness and warmth to the cold.
Since human beings discovered fire, they were in awe of its power. They sought to harness that power, mostly to use its power of transformation. We continue this ancient tradition when we practice candle magic.
Remember: the moment you begin planning a spell, you are in the process of casting it. Always keep your good intentions and a positive attitude, because you’re pouring your energy into the goal.

Step 1: Determine Your Magical Goal
As with all magical workings, it’s essential to put thought into your goal. Some tips to keep in mind when setting a magical goal:
-Be specific (no ‘wishing’ or ‘make things better’ type goals)
-Be realistic (don’t venture into the realm of fantasy here)
-Consider the ethics of your actions (always act ethically and don’t interfere with free will)
-Use positive language (avoid words like ‘don’t,’ ‘can’t,’ ‘won’t’ and ‘not’)
-Break bigger goals down into a series of smaller goals
Try to write your goal in a single sentence, such as ‘I need to earn extra money to pay the electric bill’ or ‘I want to be protected from harm when I travel.’

Step 2: Design Your SpellUse your goal to help guide you in designing your candle magic spell. Let’s say I’m doing a money spell for the electric bill. I’m going to do the most basic candle magic spell: I’m going to visualize my goal and light the candle to release the energy.
I’ve decided to keep components simple and to a minimum: a taper candle in a holder, some oils to dress the candle, maybe a few herbs and spices to lend some power
Finally, I want a chant to help raise energy. I can use one of the many chants found online, or I can custom-design one. The only important thing about the chant is that it has meaning to me. I also personally like to use rhymes, because they’re easy to remember and to get into a rhythm.
If you use magical timing, you could check a lunar calendar to decide the best moon sign or the planetary hour for your spell.

Step 3: Collect Your ComponentsChoose components aligned with your goal. We also want to use oils, herbs, and spices that correspond to the goal.
for example:
-A green virgin candle – candles should always be virgin, or never used, in candle magic. As for the color choice, use your instincts or see the *color correspondence guide below.
-A gold candle holder – gold also represents wealth (even if it’s not real gold, it’s just gold-colored, it’ll do)
-Patchouli oil – an oil associated with prosperity
-Ground cinnamon – a spice associated with wealth
-Dragon’s blood – a resin that lends spells power
-Ground ginger – a spice used to speed up results
A good thing to ask yourself when choosing correspondences is, “What things do I associate with my goal?” Green reminds me of money and wealth; if gold or brown or red remind you of money and wealth, you could use those colors. If I didn't have essential oil, I might just use corn oil— corn reminds me of cash crops and prosperity. You might use olive oil-- it's expensive so you might see it as a luxury item.
I use ginger because I have had success with it speeding up results of spells. Let’s say you hate Chinese food because it makes you sick, and the smell of ginger reminds you of that. Then ginger would not be a good correspondence for you, because you associate it with being sick.

*Color Correspondence Guide

No list is written in stone. What's most important is what colors represent to you. This is just a general guide-- feel free to tweak it, expand on it, or toss it if it doesn't resonate with you.

Candle Magic: Dressing the Candle
This is one of the most important parts of doing candle magic. You have to establish a psychic link between the candle, you and your goal. The process for doing this is known as ‘dressing the candle.’
Dressing the candle requires the candle and some oil (whatever you’ve chosen based on your goal). You have to pour the oil on your hands and rub it on the candle. There are a lot of different opinions on the ‘proper way’ to rub the oil on the candle. Here are some variations:
-Rub the candle with oil from top to bottom
-Rub the candle with oil from bottom to top
-Rub from top to bottom to draw things to you; rub from bottom to tip to send things away
-Start at the center of the candle and with oil from center to top, then from center to bottom.
-Start at the ends of the candle. Rub oil on from the top end to the center, then from the bottom end to the center.
So which one is right? I think this is one of those things in which various methods work, and you need to choose the one that works best for you.
The more important thing is your mental state as you rub the candle. As you rub the oil onto the candle, you should be strongly visualizing your intent and mentally ‘pouring’ that energy into the candle. You can use your chant at this point if you feel it will help and feel the energy building. Your hands may actually begin feeling tingly, or the candle may begin to feel like it’s pulsing with energy—this is good, it’s working.
Do this for a couple of minutes, maybe 50 to 100 strokes, until you feel the candle is sufficiently charged. You can dress your candle well ahead of time if you like, or you can do it just before casting the spell. It’s up to you.

The White Witch Parlour
(There are several ways to use these all natural powder incense, traditionally it can be burned over hot charcoals, letting the smoke help to create a sacred space, offering or divination tool. You can run a stone like Clear Quartz through the smoke to clear it and consecrate it with calming and peaceful energy. The powder can be tossed into an open flame during a ritual or spell casting. You can dress a candle in the powder for calming energy, during whatever work you may be doing. A potpourri warmer with some of the powder and water, diffuse the scent and properties quite nice. Lastly, you can create a mixture using the Benedictio powder to custom make your own all natural cone incense. A little goes a long way!)

-'Amor : Latin: love, loving; fondness
1. In Roman mythology, the god of love, son of Venus.
2. Another name for Cupid.
3. In Greek Mythology, Eros, the god of love, son of Aphrodite.

Another fantastic smelling blend, 'AMOR' is a soft floral scent, made from Jenna's artisan blend of red roses, Jasmine flowers, Star Anise, Clove bud and Palo Santo resin, blessed by Rose Quartz for help in love matters, self-appreciation, friendship, relationship protection, passion & affection. Love is the most powerful gift we can give anything. Working with only the purest energies of love and light, this blend can bring you an abundance of peace and self-love, because with these two things you can conquer pretty much anything!

While love is an important energy to experience, self- acceptance is where it truly all begins. Without self-love, you cannot give love, and if you cannot give love, you cannot receive it. We tend to attract the love we feel we deserve, so it is essential to start at the inner core of this love and before you go out to seek it, look inside.

All That Shimmerzz

I bought some beautiful Crystals from Jennie at All That Shimmerzz recently, and I can't stop swooning over them.

I purchased a rose quartz sphere, and 5 towers: quartz, 2 rose quartz's, rainbow fluorite, and an Aventurine.

10112018-008  -the clear quartz (left) is the most common mineral in the Earth's crust. Because of how common it is, clear quartz is most likely the least expensive crystal out there. The name "quartz" comes from the Greek derivative krustallos, meaning 'ice,' as it was thought that quartz was actually ice formed by the Gods. Since the Middle Ages, spheres made of rock crystal have been used to predict the future (crystal balls, anyone?). Almost every witch who works with crystals will have at least one piece of clear quartz in their collection, just for the sheer versatility it offers as a crystal.
Essentially, clear quartz is universally handy; if you don't have a particular stone for a spell, you bet clear quartz can do the job! In addition to its amplification properties, its unusually good for protection and healing spells, as well as providing clarity. If you're a student having trouble studying or having trouble focusing at work, meditating with some clear quartz might help you out.

-the rose quartz, gets its name from the rosy pink hue of the stone. The color is caused by small amounts of titanium in the crystal. The color of rose quartz ranges from pale shades of pink to rose-pink to rose-red. Occasionally it has a faint purplish or lavender cast. Rose quartz is considered the stone of universal, unconditional love. The stones are often carved and tumbled into heart shapes to further reinforce this idea. Witches whose craft is focused around love and/or self-love often have several of these stones, used in rituals and spells to strengthen love.
Rose quartz is used to purify and open the heart at all levels to promote love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace. It can be used to help bring comfort in times of grief. Rose quartz dispels negativity and protects against emotional pollution, replacing it with loving vibes. It encourages self-forgiveness and acceptance, invoking self-trust and self-worth to those who use it.
Those with mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression can find rose quartz helpful on their road to recovery; though, of course, crystals are not a replacement for therapy and medication. Always get help from doctors before supplementing with crystals.

10112018-009
-the aventurine is a microcrystalline quartz that contains various mineral inclusions that give it a sparkling appearance. Aventurine is usually green, but it can also be peach, brown or blue.
Aventurine brings good luck and good fortune, clears emotional stress, and it is said to attract money. Lore says that it enhances prosperity and brings career success. Green Aventurine is also for increasing one's perception and creativity. Aventurine is supposed to benefit one in all areas of creativity, and imagination, as well as intellect and mental clarity. It is a gentle stone energetically that gives a sense of calm and balance and enhances happiness. It also helps one to see alternatives and potentials in all situations, providing a positive outlook, courage and inner strength. Aventurine brings friendship to one's life. It is a stone of protection energies. Folklore and metaphysical lore say that physically it is beneficial for blood, circulatory system, heart, headaches, sleep disorders, and healing. Green Aventurine harmonizes well with moldavite, moonstone, morganite, and green and pink tourmaline. Aventurine is associated with the heart chakra. Placed on the heart Chakra removes anxiety and stimulates dreaming. (Worth a shot I suppose.)

-the rainbow fluorite is perhaps one of the most underrated but also one of the most powerful. This stone is known to quite literally suck negative energy and low vibrations from a space or your body, and create room for the light to shine in. Found in multiple color variations, fluorite is a truly magical crystal.
It is used for auric protection, to raise your vibration, alchemize negative energy, and calming a chaotic mind. Rainbow fluorite is most known to stabilize the mind and amplify psychic connection and heighten intuitive powers.
This dynamic stone can be used when studying to clear the mind and sharpen focus. It can also be used to alleviate inflammation in the body, dissipate cold symptoms, and can be healing for the mucous membrane as well. It is highly protective and helps to ground and harmonize spiritual energy. It also helps to increase intuitive abilities when working with the upper chakras, linking the human mind to universal consciousness, and develops a connection to spirit.

Jennie also threw in a few tumbled stones for me! Aaaaw... 10112018-017
